First Devlog here

Ive made a few changes based on feedback - feel free to download game again or play in browser

Following changes:

  • Added a bit of tutorial text on wave 1 to show that missiles regen - Using missile is always good!
  • Adjusted the boss bulletwave so it can be microed - still pretty threatening
  • adjusted the boss charge attack to aim better - is quite a bit threatening now.
  • The ship collision box is smaller - generally more thrilling to pull off some amazing dodges
  • Your missile collision box is wider - hitting easier.
  • The pickup collision box is a lot larger - no need to make it hard to get pickups.
  • The electro-gloop shouldn't aimfire when close to off screen which could be jarring BUT will be a bit more loose with firing when attacking.
  • Added small shwave for aging out bullets - reason why they disappear as such.
  • Adjusted pickup chances a bit - still intentionally rare - time vortex level has greater chance of metal
  • More boss sounds and a few other cosmetic changes
  • Cleaned up and optimized some of the code
